Dr. Rachelle Calo, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Rachelle (Ray-Shell) Calo was born and raised in the Philippines where she received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (2000). She moved to the United States shortly after and received her Physical Therapy license in New York in 2002. In 2010, she started working for the NY Department of Education, servicing special needs children. She also worked as an Early Intervention Provider (birth to 3 years old) and a Committee on Preschool Special Education Provider (3-5 years old) in NY. She earned her transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Utica University in New York (2019). She recently relocated to South Carolina with her family receiving her SC Physical Therapy license in 2022.

Rachelle has training in Dynamic Movement Intervention (Level C Practitioner) and Total Motion Release to help children meet their developmental motor skills. She also incorporates CST, infant massage, and oral motor work into her therapeutic practice. With her years of experience, she specializes in treating infants and toddlers with torticollis, plagiocephaly, developmental delays, hypotonia, and children with neurological impairments.

Outside of work, Rachelle loves to cheer for the New England Patriots. She loves to read, play chess and board games, enjoys travelling, camping, and discovering new food places with her husband and their 11 year-old daughter.
